TENDER DESCRIPTION

Given the nature and complexity of the procurement subject, the need to equip the Rhythmology Department with high-performance medical angiography equipment, the increase in the number of patients and the need for interventional medical services, the outcome of the previous procedure, which did not result in the submission of any tenders, and the existence of funding with a deadline, the Contracting Authority considers that there is an objective need to carry out the procedure with due urgency. In this context, pursuant to Article 74(3) of Law no. 98/2016 on public procurement, the Contracting Authority will set the period for submission of tenders at at least 15 days from the date of transmission for publication of the contract notice. The reduction of the deadline is justified by the emergency situation demonstrated by the documents existing in the procurement file and does not aim to restrict competition or favour a particular economic operator.
