TENDER DESCRIPTION

The context that determined the acquisition is given by the increase in road safety and pedestrian safety within the administrative area of Sector 3 of the Municipality of Bucharest, through targeted interventions on approximately 1,100 objectives (pedestrian crossings and intersections) located primarily in the vicinity of educational units and crowded areas. The need and opportunity of the investment are based on official statistical data provided by the Road Brigade, which indicates a high number of road accidents in Sector 3, a significant share of which have as their main cause the failure to give priority to pedestrians. The general technical solution primarily includes: • traffic calming measures by raising pedestrian crossings and intersections; • full modernization of the lighting system in the area of pedestrian crossings, with new poles (with and without a cantilever) and LED technology; • implementation of an intelligent public lighting system, with presence detection, dynamic ITS-type signaling and energy management; • vertical and horizontal road signaling, tactile markings, safety and road guidance elements; • related works for underground electrical networks and…
