Lot 1 – S.D.N. Orsova

TENDER DESCRIPTION

The slope rock scaling works will be carried out within the area of S.D.N. Orsova, with the possibility that the beneficiary may request from the Contractor, in exceptional situations, the emergency execution of certain sections of national roads belonging to other S.D.N.s within the area of D.R.D.P. Craiova. The works consist of: • Installing road signage on the road section adjacent to the slope; this operation is part of the Contractor’s duties; • Securing the ropes and the safety belt to the protection anchors; • Lifting workers to the work points starting from the slope foot, including descending; • Dislodging from the rock face the cracked rock blocks using the spike and sledgehammer, wedges and feathers; • Performing the surface dressing/polishing. Slope rock scaling of the rock pieces shall be carried out with great care so that unstable rock pieces do not remain, which, after completion of the work, could fall onto the road platform and cause accidents.
