TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Zurich Transport Network (ZVV) itself operates various digital sales channels. These include in particular the ZVV app, the ZVV Online Ticket Shop, as well as other web-based sales systems for telephone sales or self-service sales. Passengers can pay for their tickets in the designated digital sales channels with various digital payment methods and, among other things, with debit and credit cards from Visa and Mastercard. Acquiring for card transactions with Visa and Mastercard, in particular the contractual acceptance, processing and settlement of payments, will be awarded anew with effect from 1 January 2027. Due to the volume of the contract, the award will be made as part of a public tender in accordance with the applicable procurement law. The subject of the tender is the acquiring services for Visa and Mastercard payments in distance transactions via the ZVV’s digital sales channels. Payment Service Providing is not part of the procurement. The ZVV’s current Payment Service Provider (PSP) is Datatrans.
