TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Micro Systems, LTCC and HTCC group of Fraunhofer IKTS is specialized in the development of highly integrated ceramic multi-layer systems and in the functionalization of surfaces for RF, sensor, and measurement technology. One focus is the additive manufacturing of electronic structures on complex 2D and 3D geometries as well as the integration of passive components. To expand competencies in the field of digital printing and 3D system integration, within the scope of the procurement project, which is funded through co-financing by the European Union (funding reference EFRE InfraProNet 2021-2027, application 100786592, account number 3001119322), an Aerosol-Jet printing system based on an ultrasonic nebulizer is to be procured. This system is specifically intended for the generation of highly resolved structures with excellent edge definition and high geometric precision. A key advantage is the long stable printing duration combined with a materials-saving process, enabling economical and reproducible production of the smallest functional structures.
