TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Micro Systems, LTCC and HTCC group of Fraunhofer IKTS is specialized in the development of highly integrated ceramic multilayer systems and the functionalization of surfaces for high-frequency, sensor and measurement technology. One focus is on additive manufacturing of electronic structures on complex 2D and 3D geometries, as well as the integration of passive components. In order to expand the competencies in the field of digital printing and 3D system integration, as part of the procurement project that is funded through co-financing by the European Union (funding reference EFRE InfraProNet 2021-2027, application 100786592, account number 3001119322), an Aerosol-Jet printing system based on an ultrasonic nebulizer is to be procured. This system is intended specifically for the production of highly resolved structures with excellent edge sharpness and high geometric precision. A key advantage is the long stable printing duration combined with a material-saving process, which enables economical and reproducible manufacturing of the smallest functional structures.
