TENDER DESCRIPTION
Delivery of Tunnel Lighting Within the framework of this Tender, the Municipality intends to procure ‘Tunnel Lighting’. The Assignment consists of delivering the required materials and fixtures included in the Program of Requirements for the lighting of a tunnel or underpass, where necessary based on a lighting plan prepared by the supplier. The installation of the lighting is not within the scope of this assignment. Project Description The majority of the lighting in Amsterdam has been replaced by LED lighting in recent years. Lighting for a number of smaller tunnels and underpasses was outside the scope. These tunnels and underpasses now also require LED lighting. Initially, this concerns approximately 20 tunnels and/or underpasses, which are expected to increase over the next four to six years. However, replacement takes place when the current lighting fails, so the exact extent cannot be specified. In addition, specific additional work is required: viewing and advising per location with a lighting plan drawn up by the supplier.
