TENDER DESCRIPTION

Supply of Tunnel Lighting Within the framework of this Tender, the Municipality intends to procure 'Tunnel lighting'. The Contract consists of supplying the materials and fixtures required as stated in the Program of Requirements for the lighting of a tunnel or underpass, where necessary based on a lighting plan drawn up by the supplier. Installing the lighting is not part of the scope of this contract. Project Description Most of the lighting in Amsterdam has been replaced by LED lighting in recent years. Excluded from the scope was the lighting of a number of smaller tunnels and underpasses. These tunnels and underpasses now also require LED lighting. Initially, this concerns approximately 20 tunnels and/or underpasses, and it is expected that this number will increase over the next four to six years. Replacement, however, takes place when the current lighting fails, so the exact extent cannot be specified. In addition, specific additional work is required: inspecting and advising per location whereby a lighting plan is made by the supplier.
