TENDER DESCRIPTION
AI 2025-0200 - Lot 1 OPK (used paper and cardboard) The Contract consists of the processing of OPK and glass collected by the Municipality. Through underground and above-ground containers, residents of Amsterdam can offer their OPK and glass separately. In addition, the Municipality has seven Recycle Points (see: https://www.amsterdam.nl/afval/spullen-wegbrengen-naar-een-recyclepunt/) where citizens and businesses can offer their OPK and glass. Finally, OPK and glass are also collected from businesses by BAC, part of the Municipality. Transport to the location(s) of the Tenderer is carried out by the Municipality. This Contract has a revenue character. The Contractor obtains the raw materials (OPK and glass) supplied by the Municipality and is responsible for loading and unloading, logistical off-site removal and processing. Ownership and risk of the delivered batch transfer to the Contractor at the time of acceptance after weighing and quality control at the receiving location. This is recorded on the weighbridge ticket and in the quality declaration. Based on the monthly statement, the Municipality invoices the revenues in accordance with the Agreement.
