TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is an information system entity intended for monitoring the use of vehicles and for fleet management (hereinafter the “System”), as well as the required location devices for the North Karelia wellbeing services county and the South Savo wellbeing services county. The purpose is to acquire, as a ready-made solution, a modular, easy-to-use and information-secure overall solution that meets the requirements of data protection and other legislation. The system includes both an application and the necessary location equipment. With the system, it must be possible to monitor the location and use of vehicles in real time, to produce an electronic logbook in accordance with the requirements of the Finnish Tax Administration, and to manage the organisation’s fleet centrally. The aim is to improve the manageability and usability of driving data at the level of the entire organisation.
