TENDER DESCRIPTION

As part of projects of the Umweltbundesamt, data for calculating transport emissions up to the reference year 2025 were collected, stored in a database, and a model for calculating emissions was created and used (TREMOD). The emissions of greenhouse gases and air pollutants calculated with the TREMOD model are, among other things, the basis for German emissions reporting for the source group “Transport” and various other national and international reporting obligations. The TREMOD model is written in the programming language Python and exists in the form of a development version and a use version. The development version enables emission calculations and data queries, whereas the use version enables predefined data queries. .
