TENDER DESCRIPTION
The project involves building a new school facility while maintaining the site’s operations by phasing the works in three successive stages. This arrangement is one of the main challenges of the civil engineering assignment. It requires rigorous planning, continuous anticipation of interfaces between the different phases, and close coordination with the contracting authority, the client representatives’ team, and the contractors. The aim is to ensure users’ safety, continuity of activities, compliance with deadlines, and control of costs throughout the project. The first stage involves dismantling the school pavilion, known as “La Grange”, and the existing garages in order to free up the areas required for constructing the new school. To ensure continuity of school activities during this phase, three variants may be implemented independently.
