TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Federal Government pursues the goal of systematically and effectively strengthening affordable housing construction, urban and regional development, and innovations in above-ground construction. For the conceptual preparation of political decisions and for the implementation of priority areas for action, the BMWSB requires scientific expertise. In this context, the BMWSB relies on comprehensive studies and long-term research projects as well as on the expertise of the BBSR in order to fundamentally work up research topics relevant to policy in the areas of housing, urban development and construction. At the same time, there is also a need for short-term scientific expertise in order to be able to act flexibly and in an evidence-based manner in current social debates. Under this framework contract, such short-term economic questions raised by the BMWSB and its departmental research institution, the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR), are to be examined ad hoc by scientists and researchers.
