TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this contract is the reinforced concrete works, the excavations for the construction of the underground parts and some external arrangements. Partial excavations: The existing ground has previously been replaced with alluvial material; the excavations must be carried out for the construction of the underground room and the retaining works in the vicinity of the 50 kV room. Excavations for the lowering and the construction of the Planum will be continued with partial excavations. During excavations near the 50 kV room, where necessary and in view of the many cable ducts, sub-masonry works will be carried out to avoid damaging existing infrastructure. Reinforced concrete cast in place: Once the excavations have been completed, all the structural parts in reinforced concrete will be constructed, which include: the underground room, the retaining works adjacent to the 50 kV room, the raft/footing (platen) with the lowering sections, and the two stairwells including an adjacent lift shaft on both floors.
