TENDER DESCRIPTION

A contract is offered for the purchase of 2 amphibious RHIB vessels for the Coastal Rescue Service, including trailer and a spare parts package. The vessels shall be used for rescue operations (Search And Rescue, (SAR)) in shallow areas, fjords and close to the coast in the North Sea, the Kattegat and the Baltic Sea, and shall be capable of being launched via. the beach, where it independently must be able to drive from the trailer and into the water. The vessel including engines, fuel and permanently fitted equipment, as well as the trailer, must not exceed a total of 3500 kg (ready-to-drive weight), as the vessel and trailer as a combined unit must be manageable by a vehicle with a maximum permitted trailer weight with brakes of 3500 kg and a non-visual (no-contact) coupling. The vessel must be built for an expected service life of at least 15 years.
