TENDER DESCRIPTION

A contract is offered for the purchase of 2 amphibious RHIB vessels for the Coastal Rescue Service, including a trailer and a spare parts package. The vessels must be used for rescue operations (Search And Rescue, (SAR)) in shallow areas, fjords and near the coast in the North Sea, the Kattegat and the Baltic Sea and must be able to be launched via. the shore, where it independently must be able to drive from the trailer and into the water. The vessel including engines, fuel and permanently installed equipment as well as the trailer must not exceed 3500 kg in total (ready-to-operate weight), as the vessel and trailer as a combined unit must be able to be handled by a vehicle with a maximum permitted towed load with brakes of 3500 kg and a visually unobstructed connection. The vessel must be built for an expected service life of at least 15 years.
