TENDER DESCRIPTION

The task of the non-profit AMO GmbH, Gesellschaft für Angewandte Mikro- und Optoelektronik mbH, is the promotion of science and research. The planning and implementation of research and development projects are carried out in close cooperation with public funding and contracting authorities, other research institutions and companies in the commercial economy. AMO GmbH’s tasks include publishing the scientific findings obtained, as well as providing continuing education and training for scientific specialists. In its activities, AMO works application-oriented and geared towards transfer, with the continuously changing societal challenges providing the framework for orientation. It investigates future-capable technology potentials for developing new solution approaches for microelectronics, semiconductor technology and nanotechnology. The research services are carried out for the most part on a project-oriented basis, with financing largely provided through acquired (public) project funds from the state, the federal government or the EU.
