TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the project is to examine how the energy transition has affected investment and jobs in the energy sector. For this purpose, existing data from statistics, companies and academic studies are evaluated. On this basis, investments in the energy transition and employment in the energy sector are to be presented over a longer period. A particular focus is placed on renewable energies, since so far only a few official data on employment are available. In addition, it may be examined what costs arise for consumers from energy supply. In doing so, the areas of electricity, heat and transport are considered and the various costs are consolidated. The contractor supports the BMWE with data evaluation and with the development of suitable indicators. The aim is to present the previous economic effects of the energy transition in a clear manner on the basis of data.
