TENDER DESCRIPTION

In the context of the Cigéo project (Industrial Center for Geological Storage), Andra has successively equipped itself in 2007 and 2014 with: - A system allowing a precise description of the environment of the site likely to host the future radioactive waste storage center in Meuse/Haute-Marne: the Perennial Environmental Observatory (OPE). This observatory is a tool for long-term environmental research and observation, - An environmental sample bank housed in a dedicated building called the Ecotheque, allowing the durable preservation of environmental samples collected within the framework of OPE activities and offering, in due course, the possibility to perform retrospective analyses on these samples. These samples are preserved according to three methods: cryogenics, deep-freezing, or room temperature. Andra had to equip itself with a cryogenic network including a nitrogen tank supplied with liquid nitrogen to preserve the samples maintained under cryogenics. This network supplies the entire cryogenic system and notably the cryogenic equipment at the end of the line (vessels).
