TENDER DESCRIPTION

Type and scope of the service: Pursuant to Section 16 of the German Occupational Safety and Health Act (Arbeitssicherheitsgesetz, ASiG), the contracting authority is obliged to ensure, at its operating sites, occupational medical and safety-technical occupational safety and health protection that is equivalent to the principles of the ASiG. The key legal basis for ensuring occupational medical and safety-technical occupational safety and health protection for the contracting authority that is equivalent to the principles of the ASiG is the General Administrative Regulation for occupational medical and safety-technical supervision in federal authorities and companies (Allgemeine Verwaltungsvorschrift für die betriebsärztliche und sicherheitstechnische Betreuung in den Behörden und Betrieben des Bundes, BsiB-AVwV) in conjunction with Annex I, Chapter VIII, Field B – Technical Occupational Safety and Health, Section III, No. 12 letter g to the German Unification Treaty.
