TENDER DESCRIPTION

Type and scope of the service: Pursuant to Section 16 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (Arbeitssicherheitsgesetz, ASiG), the contracting authority is obliged to ensure in its establishments an occupational medical and safety-related occupational safety and health service that is equivalent to the principles of the ASiG. The relevant legal basis for ensuring for the contracting authority an occupational medical and safety-related occupational safety and health service that is equivalent to the principles of the ASiG is the General Administrative Provision for occupational medical and safety-related care in federal authorities and establishments (Allgemeine Verwaltungsvorschrift für die betriebsärztliche und sicherheitstechnische Betreuung in den Behörden und Betrieben des Bundes, BsiB-AVwV), in conjunction with Annex I, Chapter VIII, Subject Area B - Technical occupational safety and health, Section III, No. 12, letter g to the Unification Treaty.
