TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Gävle currently has two separate agreements concerning work clothing (occupational, high-visibility, protective and flame-retardant clothing) as well as work shoes, under which a total of four (4) Suppliers have been selected, two (2) Suppliers per agreement. The agreements are allocated as follows: Agreement 1: Work clothing for catering, premises cleaning and care Agreement 2: Occupational, high-visibility, protective and flame-retardant work clothing In preparation for the upcoming procurement, the City of Gävle has chosen to meet the main part of the need for work clothing within its health care and care services through a separate agreement for rented work clothing, including circulation washing. This means that the need to purchase work clothing for these operations will decrease significantly. In addition, the previous agreements included a range of products that are largely equivalent. Against this background, the Contracting Authority assesses that there is no longer any need to enter into agreements with multiple Suppliers.
