TENDER DESCRIPTION

This contract is a contract for the provision of services. These services relate to the removal and processing of soil and dredging and excavation material, originating from infrastructure and maintenance works of the Central Region division. The purpose of this contract is to be able to have a contract for the removal and processing of soil and dredging and excavation material, whether or not contaminated, whenever the need arises. This contract must provide a solution for quantities of soil and dredging and excavation material that, for various reasons, cannot be removed and processed under the ongoing and future infrastructure or maintenance contracts of the contracting authority. The following activities may form part of the contract (non-exhaustive): - Loading and transport of (contaminated) soil/material - Temporary storage of (contaminated) soil/material - Stabilisation/solidification of (contaminated) material - Removal of soil/material to the storage/disposal site of the contracting authority - Take-over of reusable soil/material - Cleaning of contaminated soil/material - … This contract is a contract for the provision of services.
