TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the service is the implementation of the survey activities described in the monitoring concept for the species listed in the annexes to the FFH Directive and, on this basis, the assessment of the conservation status of the populations of these species—here for the hermit beetle (Cerambyx cerdo) and the stag beetle (Osmoderma eremita)—on selected monitoring sites of the state and federal monitoring in the Land of Saxony-Anhalt. In this way, the nature conservation technical foundations are provided for the preparation of the national report of the Land of Saxony-Anhalt to the Federal Republic of Germany and, in turn, in fulfilment of the reporting obligations under the FFH Directive, to the European Union. As part of the FFH monitoring, a total of 21 monitoring sites (hereinafter also STPE = sampling units) must be processed, which are divided as follows across two beetle species.
