TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the service is to implement the survey activities described in the monitoring concept for species listed in the annexes to the Habitats Directive and, following that, to assess the conservation status of the populations of these species, here for the marsh fritillary (Euphydryas aurinia), the dark large blue (Phengaris nausithous; = Maculinea nausithous, syn.) and the Spanish flag (Euplagia quadripunctaria) on selected monitoring areas of the state and federal monitoring in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt. This establishes the nature conservation-related technical basis for drawing up the national report of the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt to the Federal Republic of Germany and, following that, in fulfilment of the reporting obligations under the Habitats Directive, for submission to the European Union.
