Asbestos Roof Removal, Roof Replacement, Solar PV, Battery Storage and Smart Energy Control System at Athy Rugby Club

TENDER DESCRIPTION

Athy Rugby Club wishes to appoint a suitably qualified Design and Build Contractor for the removal and lawful disposal of asbestos roof materials, replacement of the clubhouse roof with a new insulated composite roof system, and the design, supply, installation, commissioning and support of a Solar PV Array, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and Smart Energy Control System. The works include the removal and disposal of approximately 830 m2 of asbestos-containing roof coverings and associated asbestos gutters and downpipes. A new insulated roof system with a minimum 50-year design life and new gutters and downpipes shall be installed. Tenderers shall attend a mandatory pre-tender site inspection and measurement survey. All dimensions and quantities are indicative only and tenderers shall rely on their own measurements. No adjustment to the Contract Sum will be permitted for quantity or measurement differences that could reasonably have been identified before tender submission.
