Assistance with concept development in the project "Future film financing" - Request for participation

TENDER DESCRIPTION

The aim of the assignment is to assist NFI in the development of alternative concepts for how governmental financing instruments for feature films can be adapted and interacted in the future. The assignment will help explore how the total funding apparatus can be further developed so that it more fully supports the social goal of a sustainable Norwegian film industry that creates films the public wants to see, through flexible and effective financing that strengthens companies' ability to take risks. The concepts shall contribute to highlighting how the financing system can provide: - more predictable and efficient financing processes. - better liquidity and economic robustness of the production companies. - increased ability to combine artistic ambition and public appeal - increased attractiveness for private investments. - a greater strategic scope of action for established companies. - stronger incentives for long-term value creation and utilisation of content.
