TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contractor provides the delivery and the services required to make the system ready for operation for expanding the central IT infrastructure with a high-performance storage system. The service includes the delivery of at least two redundant storage systems, including all hardware, software and license components required for the operation specified in the tender, as well as all cables, transceivers, optics and other connection components required for installation and connection. The storage systems are to be delivered by the contractor to the data centre locations designated by the contracting authority on the campus of the Universitätsmedizin Magdeburg, to be installed into the respective data centres and to be professionally mounted in the racks specified by the contracting authority. The connection to the existing power supply or the existing PDUs as well as the Fibre Channel and Ethernet cabling shall be carried out by the contractor in accordance with the contracting authority’s technical and organisational requirements.
