TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contractor provides the delivery and the services required to provide it ready for operation for the expansion of the central IT infrastructure by a high-performance storage system. The service comprises the delivery of at least two redundant storage systems including all hardware, software and license components required for the operation specified in the tender, as well as all cables, transceivers, optics and other interconnection components required for installation and connection. The contractor shall deliver the storage systems to the data centre locations on the campus of Universitätsmedizin Magdeburg designated by the contracting authority, install them in the respective data centres, and fit them professionally into the racks specified by the contracting authority. The connection to the existing power supply or existing PDUs, as well as the Fibre Channel and Ethernet cabling, shall be carried out by the contractor in accordance with the contracting authority’s technical and organisational requirements.
