TENDER DESCRIPTION

Description: The measure includes partial refurbishment of Building A at the Berufliches Schulzentrum Kulmbach, including complete replacement of the central heating supply system for the entire school complex. The building erected in 1960 will be modernised in terms of energy efficiency by refurbishing the façade and roof. Inside, extensive structural and technical upgrades will be carried out. The heating radiators over 60 years old in the classrooms will be replaced by modern heating ceilings. In addition, an elevator will be installed to make all floors accessible without barriers. On the ground floor, the administrative area, including the teachers’ room, the secretariat and the school management offices, will be fundamentally restructured. The assembly hall will remain an event and examination room. On the upper floors, 18 classrooms with associated preparation rooms will be modernised. In future, the basement will house, in addition to storage and technical rooms, integrated specialist rooms for vocational preparation classes.
