TENDER DESCRIPTION
The scope of service for the contractor includes planning and execution of the expansion of the existing 110-kV plant from the current two to eight double busbar section bays in outdoor (open-air) design. The measure also includes installation of a 110-kV earthing fault current extinguishing coil (E coil), relocation of a 110/20-kV transformer, construction of new oil containment trays, and preparation of a temporary arrangement to ensure plant operation during the construction phase. The existing substation has two 110/20-kV transformers with a rated power of 40 MVA each. These are supplied in block operation via two 110-kV overhead lines from the neighbouring substation Rottweil operated by Netze BW. As part of the expansion, the 110-kV switchgear installation will be expanded to a total of eight double busbar section bays. Provision is made for two supply bays for the 110-kV overhead lines, two transformer bays, three cable outgoing bays and one cross-connection. One cable outgoing bay is provided as a reserve. For the moment, only the foundations will be installed there. In addition, a 110-kV earthing fault current extinguishing coil will be erected in submersible core…
