TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this invitation to tender is the supply, installation and ready-for-operation handover of shore-side infrastructures for the Inland AIS system at a total of 18 sites along the Federal Waterway Neckar. The measure serves to expand the existing inland AIS service, which already comprises 120 stations nationwide. The new stations will be built on existing lock and technical buildings. At most sites, shared accommodation is provided together with existing facilities of the Nautical Information Radio (NIF). The scope of services is divided into delivery, installation and testing services. The contractor shall assume full responsibility for the delivery, the proper installation and the ready-for-operation handover of all components for the shore-side inland AIS infrastructure at 18 sites along the Neckar.
