TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipality of Niederkrüchten, which is part of the district and has approximately 15,000 inhabitants, is located on the left bank of the Lower Rhine in the west of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, bordering the Netherlands. The municipality of Niederkrüchten operates three cemeteries in the local districts of Elmpt, Niederkrüchten and Oberkrüchten. It is intended to award the contract for the horticultural and landscaping maintenance services, as well as the performance of burials including the necessary preparatory earthworks at the cemeteries, by means of an open procurement procedure. The Elmpt cemetery covers an area of approximately 22,800 m², the Niederkrüchten cemetery approximately 18,600 m² and the Oberkrüchten cemetery approximately 5,300 m². Two lots will be formed. Lot 1 includes all services for the Elmpt cemetery, Lot 2 includes the services for the Niederkrüchten and Oberkrüchten cemeteries together; between the latter cemeteries there is a distance of approximately two kilometres.
