TENDER DESCRIPTION

Providing manufacturer support for the Avaya telephone exchange and its accessories that serve the contracting authority’s buildings, as well as for services and developments built on the telephone system. The 36-month manufacturer support is intended to be divided into two parts: 1. In the event of hardware or software faults arising while operating the Avaya system properly, support and assistance provided officially by the manufacturer’s engineers for the purpose of eliminating malfunctions. 2. Software tracking throughout the entire support period, which enables the National Bank of Hungary (MNB) to access for all system software the latest versions as well as security updates. With this, the manufacturer ensures that its systems can be operated safely, without errors and with the expected functions throughout the entire life cycle. In the case of operating outdated, not updated software, operational risk would arise. The Avaya system operated by the MNB has the licences detailed in the table below.
