TENDER DESCRIPTION

The Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency (Väylävirasto) is seeking a deck section supervisor for the duration of the basic design and construction design as well as the construction of the support icebreaker, and to support the Contracting Authority during the vessel’s warranty period. The deck section supervisor acts as the representative of the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency in overseeing the vessel’s basic and construction design and the construction from the deck, bridge and general arrangements side. The position is full-time. In addition, the contract includes an option that begins upon delivery of the vessel and ends at the end of the vessel’s warranty period. The deck section supervisor works in close cooperation within the new construction supervision team, coordinated by the project manager of the new construction supervision operating as a consultant for the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency, together with the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency’s project organisation and with the supervisors of the new construction supervision project manager, the machinery section and the electrical and automation section, who also operate as consultants for the…
