TENDER DESCRIPTION

Planning, delivery, installation, calibration, commissioning, operation and maintenance of a LiDAR-based sensing and evaluation solution for the baggage discharge conveyors in baggage discharge area A, Terminal 1, at Frankfurt/Main Airport, including dashboard, data storage, interfaces, remote monitoring, support and performance reporting. Baggage discharge area A comprises a total of nine baggage discharge conveyors. The objective is improved situational awareness as well as data-based control of passenger flows and belt occupancy during ongoing arrival operations. The procurement pursues the following objectives: ● Measurement of passenger streams, occupancy, waiting times and spatial distribution at the baggage conveyors. ● Determining the time of the first and last item of baggage for each relevant belt discharge. ● Analysis of the timing of baggage removal and clearing of the belt areas without impermissible identification of passengers. ● Providing real-time alerts, historical patterns and data for later optimization or AI applications.
