TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the measure is the new build and conversion into a center for pediatric and adolescent medicine at Marienhospital Bottrop. The objective is the spatial and functional consolidation of pediatric, neonatological and maternity care services, as well as the associated outpatient and inpatient areas. The new build includes the children’s emergency outpatient department with shock room and intervention rooms, the children’s day clinic, the interdisciplinary examination and treatment areas with nephrology, neuropediatrics, gastroenterology and urology, the children’s intensive care and IMC care, the maternity ward, the general pediatric inpatient ward including isolation areas, as well as the delivery room. The maternity areas with delivery room and maternity ward, and the neonatological and/or pediatric intensive care are closely connected to each other spatially and functionally. The three-storey building is intended to comprise around 50 patient rooms with a total of 79 beds.
