The supply of the school building is provided via a water connection existing on site belonging to MVV Netze GmbH. After the meter equipment, a backflushing filter with a flushing group is provided in order to comply with the backflushing intervals. Immediately after the central cold-water distribution, a softening system based on the ion-exchange principle was provided for the take-off for the kitchen supply in order to reduce scale formation. The process principle is carried out by exchanging the hardness-forming Ca and Mg ions against Na ions from the regenerant in the ion exchanger. All classrooms and WC rooms are supplied only with cold water. Only in the rooms of the school principal and in the barrier-free WCs, the teachers’ tea kitchens and in the rooms for the caretaker, cleaning materials, parents, sanitary facilities, controls and media, decentralized domestic hot water heaters are provided by means of electric instantaneous water heaters. On the ground floor, a kitchen is planned.
