The supply of the school building is provided via a water connection existing on site of MVV Netze GmbH. After the metering facility, a backflushing filter with a flush group is provided to comply with the backflushing intervals. Immediately after the central cold-water distribution, a water-softening system based on the ion-exchange principle was provided for the kitchen supply outlet in order to reduce limescale formation. The process principle is carried out by exchanging the hardness-forming Ca and Mg ions against Na ions from the regeneration agent in the ion exchanger. All classroom and WC rooms are supplied only with cold water. Only in the office rooms of the headteacher and in the barrier-free WCs, the teachers' tea kitchens and in the rooms for caretakers, cleaning agents, parents, medical services, control (regie) and media, decentralized domestic water heaters are provided by means of electric instantaneous water heaters. A kitchen is planned on the ground floor.
