Supply of the school building is provided via a water connection of MVV Netze GmbH that already exists on site. After the meter installation, a backflush filter with a flushing unit will be provided in order to comply with the backflush intervals. Immediately after the central cold-water distribution, an on-departure water softening system based on the ion-exchange principle was provided for the kitchen supply in order to reduce the formation of limescale. The process principle involves exchanging the hardness-forming Ca and Mg ions for Na ions from the regenerating agent in the ion exchanger. All classrooms and WC rooms are supplied with cold water only. Only in the rooms of the school head and in the barrier-free WCs, in the teachers’ tea kitchens and in the rooms for caretaker, cleaning supplies, parents, sanitary service, control and media, decentralized drinking water heaters are provided using electrical instantaneous water heaters. On the ground floor, a kitchen is planned.
