TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Mannheim has commissioned BBS Bau- und Betriebsservice GmbH to carry out an extension new build of a four-track primary school with full-day care and two single-field sports halls. Due to the increasing number of students, the Humboldtschule, which is protected as a listed building, will be expanded. For this purpose, Erlenstraße and the existing playground will be relocated, creating a contiguous site area. The City assumes a total of approx. 448 students. Neckarstadt-West is located north of the Neckar, between Kurpfalz Bridge and Zungbusch Bridge. The plot is located in the east of Neckarstadt-West. On the site there is the existing building of the former primary school, in which a secondary school is also housed. By purchasing a plot of land and incorporating Erlenstraße, a contiguous school site area is created. As a preparatory measure, the existing facilities (pavilion / temporary structure, playground, motorcycle dealer; Erlenstraße) are completely demolished.
