TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Mannheim has commissioned BBS Bau- und Betriebsservice GmbH to carry out the extension new construction of a four-classroom primary school with full-day care and two one-field sports halls. Due to the increasing number of students, the Humboldtschule, which is under monument protection, is being expanded. For this purpose, the Erlenstraße and the existing playground are incorporated, so that a contiguous site area is created. The City assumes a total of approximately 448 students. Neckarstadt-West is located north of the Neckar, between the Kurpfalz and Zungbusch bridges. The plot is located to the east of Neckarstadt-West. On the site there is the existing building of the previous primary school, in which a further school is also housed. By purchasing a plot of land and including Erlenstraße, a contiguous school site area is created. As a preparatory measure, the existing facilities (pavilion / temporary facility, playground, motorcycle dealer; Erlenstraße) are completely demolished.
