TENDER DESCRIPTION

The city of Mannheim has commissioned BBS Bau- und Betriebsservice GmbH with the expansion and new construction of a four-class elementary school with full-day care and two single-court sports halls. Due to the increasing number of students, the Humboldtschule, which is under monument protection, is being expanded. Erlenstraße and the existing playground will be incorporated for this purpose, creating a contiguous area. The city assumes a total of approximately 448 students. Neckarstadt-West is located north of the Neckar River, between the Kurpfalz and Zungbusch bridges. The property is situated in the eastern part of Neckarstadt-West. On the site is the existing building of the previous elementary school, which also houses a secondary school. Through the acquisition of a plot and the inclusion of Erlenstraße, a contiguous school campus is created. As a preparatory measure, the existing facilities (pavilion / provisional structure, playground, motorcycle dealer; Erlenstraße) will be completely demolished.
