SBH | Schulbau Hamburg, as a state-owned enterprise of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg (hereinafter referred to as SBH), has the task of planning, constructing, maintaining and operating school properties in accordance with economic principles while taking account of the school-related requirements and leasing the more than 400 schools to the authority for schools and vocational training (Behörde für Schule und Berufsbildung, BSB). --------------- The existing school site of Max-Traeger-Grundschule includes an existing building stock of 6 buildings of different building categories, including existing mobile classroom units. The latter remain in operation until completion of the Hamburg school building. The property has a total area of approx. 22,850 m². The expansion for 3.5-form entry (3.5-stream) is planned for the school. The following new-build measures are planned on the site: 1) Extension of the Hamburg school building (based on the Hamburger Klassenhaus) and 2) Extension of the gymnasium.
