TENDER DESCRIPTION

Alongside the creation of open-space work and stay areas, the aim of the refurbishment is to provide a sound energy-related and building-physics upgrade of the building envelope. This includes services for thermal protection and energy accounting, which encompass energy planning, substantiation in accordance with the GModG (Building Modernisation Act), and optimisation of the building envelope according to the state of the art, insofar as possible in view of listed-building law. A central challenge is the thermal overheating of the building’s thermal mass components, such as the concrete columns, which requires summer thermal protection. This is to be prevented by appropriate measures on the façade (blown-in insulation) or internally within the column area. In addition, the technical and economic feasibility of roof greening in combination with a photovoltaic system on the existing flat roof is to be investigated. In this context, the existing PV system, including the substructure, ballast and fastening, as well as the static and structural boundary conditions of the building must be taken into account.
