Project outline/description Evolved AI Service (EvoKS) The BMFTR-funded research project EvoKS (Evolved AI Services) expands the AI service center KISSKI with a focus on the energy and medical sectors into a highly scalable infrastructure for regulatorily compliant AI applications with broad applicability. The aim is the development of generic, transferable AI workflow blueprint(s) that massively facilitate SMEs and start-ups in entering into the use of AI. For this purpose, EvoKS establishes a network of AI multipliers and connects technology and end users through decentralized “AI bridges”. In addition, a “PoC workshop” enables the rapid realization of low-threshold prototypes whose findings flow directly into the development of the blueprints. Based on industrial demand, tailored components are developed and provided for this purpose. By being integrated into the KISZ network, by using open-source principles, and by having a clear exploitation strategy, EvoKS secures the technological leading position and creates a sustainable, competitive ecosystem for the German SME sector.
