TENDER DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this contract is to award an agreement to one contractor that is integrally responsible for the management and operation of the temporary storage depot De Groote Lucht. The contractor ensures safe, efficient and permit-compliant receipt, temporary storage, ripening/maturation, administration and disposal of soil. This means that Delfland is fully relieved of the depot management; Delfland remains exclusively responsible for the delivery of its own dredged material to the depot. The estimated value of the contract is approximately EUR 300,000 excluding VAT per year. This estimate is based on an expected annual volume of at least 20,000 m3 of dredged material. Although the depot has a storage capacity of approximately 20,000 m3 of dredged material, the total volume of dredged material that can be processed during the contract period is also determined by the processing activities’ lead time, but it must be at least 20,000 m3 per year.
