TENDER DESCRIPTION

Given rapid technological change and shorter innovation cycles, the contracting authorities consider it necessary to actively promote knowledge and technology transfer in the specialist fields of the Lower Saxon “Regional Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialisation (RIS3)” in their regional authorities through qualified advisory services provided by small and medium-sized enterprises (hereinafter referred to as “SMEs”, these are enterprises within the meaning of Annex 1 to Regulation (EU) No 651/2014), as well as the associated preparatory and follow-up activities. In order to increase their competitiveness, SMEs located within the area of the relevant regional authorities are to be supported through intensified advisory and support services for innovations. Securing existing and creating new jobs is of particular importance. The aim is to advise SMEs in the affected regional authorities by the contractor with regard to their innovation orientation and to initiate specific innovation projects at the SMEs for implementation.
