TENDER DESCRIPTION

Given rapid technological change and the shortening of innovation cycles, the contracting authorities consider it necessary to actively promote knowledge and technology transfer in the specialisation fields of the Lower Saxony "Regional Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialisation (RIS3)" within their regional authorities through qualified advice from small and medium-sized enterprises (hereinafter referred to as "SMEs", these are companies within the meaning of Annex 1 to Regulation (EU) No 651/2014) as well as the associated preparatory and follow-up work. In order to increase their competitiveness, the SMEs based in the area of the relevant regional authorities are to be supported through intensified consultation and guidance in relation to innovation. Particular importance is attached to ensuring existing jobs and creating new jobs. The aim is to advise SMEs in the affected regional authorities by means of the contractor with regard to their innovation orientation and to initiate specific innovation projects in the SMEs for implementation.
