TENDER DESCRIPTION

The municipalities of Borsdorf, Brandis, Großpösna, Naunhof, Belgershain, Parthenstein and Machern, which are located between the medium-sized centres of Wurzen and Grimma in the district of Leipzig, had already come together in November 2018, initially within the scope of a Letter of Intent, in order to be able to establish intermunicipal cooperation within this consortium at a later stage. Building on this, in the first quarter of 2025 an Intermunicipal Cooperation Agreement was concluded with the aforementioned municipalities. The Intermunicipal Cooperation Agreement is attached to this tender. In recent times, these municipalities have already implemented a large number of cooperative measures and projects together for the positive development of the Parthe region. These measures also include the creation of intermunicipal structures among the seven municipalities mentioned to address structural change. Substantially, this work was carried out on the basis of support from the STARK funding programme.
